I've been working with E&M Tax Services for 4 years as the Bookkeeper extraordinaire! I'm that person who actually enjoys categorizing expenses and will not rest until every bank statement is reconciled, and every dollar and deduction is accounted for.
I started working part time for E&M tax service in January of 2019 and in April of 2020 I became a full time employee. I love love taxes because numbers make sense to me. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have 3 kids. I love being outdoors and doing anything that includes my family.
My first experience with taxes was when I was in high school working at a local tax office not far from home. While I had all the intentions of becoming a dentist when heading to college, it was not long before I realized that my passion was for numbers, not fighting plaque and bad breath. I came home from college and
found myself back in the same tax office, enjoying what I did for work and knew that taxes was what I was supposed to do. While achieving my degree, I worked at a large business management firm that specialized in the entertainment industry. I enjoyed the best of both worlds, but despite climbing my way up the corporate ladder, something was missing. I wanted to create a tax firm that allowed me to assist those entertainers that had not quiet ‘struck gold’ yet. Those that wanted a better understanding of their finances, but where it still allowed me to exuberate my passion for numbers, and E&M Tax Services was born. This
tax firm has given me a platform to help navigate the entertainment industry through taxes, wake up loving what I do, and I get to witness my client’s
dreams come true, as I did my own.
Hello! I'm Koree, your reliable Office Manager at E&M. Beyond my professional role, I take immense joy in being a wife and mom to twin daughters. Erin and I go way back as childhood friends, and for the past 2 years, I've been navigating the scary world of taxes. My journey with E&M has been such a fulfilling adventure and I am so happy to be a part of this team.

Introducing Kalee, our creative and diligent E&M Tax Sends Coordinator. She ensures the smooth delivery of important tax documents from preparer to client with care. Outside the tax realm, Kalee is a Disney-loving wife and devoted mom of two boys. When not working, she spends her days at the baseball field watching her sons play and dedicates her time on the Board of Directors of the local Little League and PTA President at her son's school. Her commitment to her family reflects the same level of devotion she brings to her work, forging a seamless fusion of reliability and warmth.
Hey! I'm Tessa, you will find me in most of your emails for the time being. But I am soon passing the torch to our newest hire and I will be getting my feet wet in tax returns. In my personal life, I am a dedicated mother and wife who enjoys spending time with her family traveling to new places, watching movies, attending concerts, and being active in my daughter’s activities. I am also a dog mom to three pups that I adore. I enjoy making friends and have a passion for being kind and helping people whenever I can.
Hiya! I’m Brie and another Enrolled Agent/ Tax Preparer here at E&M. I started doing entertainer taxes back in 2018 when I interned at the Entertainment Community Fund’s (FKA The Actor’s Fund) VITA program. Always having a knack for numbers, I then went out and got my CTEC/ EA certifications and just kept going. As an actor, I was frustrated with the seemingly ever-changing tax law and not understanding how that policy affected my income. Since taxes affect us all (Death & Taxes, eh?!), and our income can fluctuate with the ups & downs of the entertainment industry, I’m happy to have joined E&M in January of 2024 and continue to help others and give them a better understanding of their own taxes and finances.
I’m thrilled to have joined the E&M team as the new office Admin in September 2024. My role is all about keeping our office organized, ensuring clear communication with our clients, and helping our amazing team thrive anyway I can!
When I’m not at work, you can find me hiking the trails or exploring national parks. I also enjoy practicing yoga, which helps me stay grounded and energized.
